This is a place to find interesting amateur images about atmospheric optics, clouds, and scenes of skies, by day and by night. Visit my photo gallery (link above). I have tried to record beautiful skyscapes for posterity. Please enjoy your visit and give me your feedback. Contact me or sign my Guestbook.
In this photo, high clouds seen near the Sun shine with colors (irisation).
"Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you" (Job 35:4-5)
"He [God] holds the waters in thick clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their weight" (Job 26:8).
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands" (Psalm 19:1)
"He [God] suspends the Earth over nothing" (Job 26:7)
The biblical book of Job has already reported, between 2000 and 1500 B.C., that our planet is suspended over nothing while the Greek philosopher Anaximander (c. 610/546 B.C.), the first speculative astronomer and the first to conceive a mechanical model of the world, is considered the first thinker that has rejected the older notion that the Earth was somehow suspended in the heavens (supported by water, pillars, or whatever).
God holds the waters in the clouds and suspends the Earth over nothing by means of the physical laws he has created to the working of the universe. The Creator continually maintains the constancy and integrity of his natural laws, energy, and matter.
Jesus is the only Savior for all mankind ! Here's how:
When we accept Jesus as our personal Savior and Redeemer, an exterior supernatural power (the Holy Spirit of God) acts over our interior. This process is not a mere personal conversion to another religion. That´s the true Christianity. It is a process in which God acts directly upon us. It's called "to be born again". Jesus explained to Nicodemus, one of the Pharisees, and an important Jewish leader: "Believe me when I say that everyone must be born again from the Spirit" (John 3:5). That means we are now born of God, with a new mind, new way of life, no pleasure in any sinful act, and in union with Christ and the Father. Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again"... (John 3:3). This is the only way to salvation. This happened to me and can happen to you. We need to believe in Jesus to be saved. It is necessary to accept Jesus death in our place. Accept that he died for the forgiveness of your sins. You can still repent and become a true Christian, saved by Jesus.
